I want your big day to really feel like it fully aligns with you and your partner. Your session or wedding day doesn’t have to look like it came off pinterest, it just has to look like you. Whether we’re going for a hike up a grassy hill, jumping into the nearest lake, or driving around the city in an old car, your images should feel like you went out for a typical date night and I just happened to stumble past you with my camera. I focus on the feeling of nostalgia and giving you timeless imagery that you'll be able to proudly hang on your wall and say "yup, that's us".
Many people have told me they feel uncomfortable in front of a lens, and I can totally relate. I’m not a fan of being on the other side of the lens, but I promise that I'm so comfortable behind the camera that you will shake off all your worries. Before the session I recommend doing what you need to do to make it special and to feel your best. Is it taking the day off work? Getting your hair done? Maybe it's taking a shot of your fav kind of alcohol before we start?? I don’t care what it is, DO IT. Because when you let your guard down, your true self will shine through in your photos; and that’s where the real magic happens.

Kaitlyn did our wedding in June 2023 and our photos are amazing! They brought emotion, the fun memories, and just pure art to our special day. Her mix of a vintage vibe into some of our photos was so unique and really showcased my ‘timeless’ theme which I appreciated! She was a trooper getting deep in some farm yard grass to get the perfect shots!
She listened to every ask I had from minimal detail pics to an abundance of party pics. Kaitlyn communicates in a timely manor and her booking website is super user friendly! We have since used WildSpiritPhotography for two family sessions and will continue to use her beautiful skills in the future!

She did everything she could to make us feel comfortable by giving us space, prompts/suggestions as needed, she even carried a little speaker to play music! I sent her a few inspo pics from Pinterest, and our final images were better than what I saw on Pinterest. And after she mailed us a few poloraids she took during the shoot-how cute is that?! If you’re looking for a photographer, I could not recommend Kaitlyn enough!

Life happens! I get it and sometimes weather, family circumstances or other things out of your control may happen. That’s okay! I am always open to rescheduling due to those things, however if you need to reschedule a second time there will be a fee. If you cancel you will not be refunded.

It always changes. I am an overshooter by nature,so I usually walk out of a session with hundreds of images. I will give as many photos from the session/wedding that speak to me and help tell the story of you. For a wedding it averages around 60-80 photos per hour.
